"City of Kansas City" Records (KC0093)

The "City of Kansas City" was a special seven car train of the Wabash Railroad Company which was inaugurated on a special run from Kansas City to St. Louis, Missouri, on November 24, 1947. It entered regular service between those cities two days later and was apparently still in service as late as July, 1965.

These records consist of a press kit which was distributed November 17, 1947 prior to the inaugural run. It contains facts about the train and its schedule, as well as photographs of the train's interior. 1947.
