The Albany Ledger first appeared on May 7, 1868, and has continued, through a variety of changes of ownership to the present day. It has appeared as a weekly newspaper since the time of its origin.

This volume consists of abstracts of the news stories published in the Albany Ledger from July 1884 to September 1887 compiled by Ms. Joyce Hensen, a Gentry County native. 1884-1887
