Oak Grove Telephone Company Records (KC172 SHS)

On January 28, 1902, several citizens of the Savannah, Missouri, area met at the Oak Grove School House to organize the Oak Grove Telephone Company. The line made connections with the Lamar Telephone Company and the Andrew County Mutual Telephone Company. The Oak Grove Telephone Company operated as an independent telephone company until at least 1916, when these records end.

This collection consists of minutes, membership lists, and financial records, and other documents related to the enterprise.. 1902-1916
