Vera G. Schmitt (1913-1989) Papers (KC0450)
These papers were gathered as part of the genealogical research of Mrs. Vera Grace Moore Schmitt. Vera Grace Moore was born in Custer, Oklahoma on August 29, 1913, to Everett Findley Moore and Bessie Catherine Clark. She was a teacher from 1932-1941, then a Federal employee until 1972. Vera was married to Harold Henry Schmitt from 1950 until his death in 1964. She was a resident of Kansas City, Missouri.
This genealogical collection consists of extensive correspondence, and information gathered by Vera Schmitt. The papers are arranged in alphabetical order, separated by last name, the name of a geographical place, or topic. Also included in the collection are; clippings, pamphlets, books and a few photographs. 1970-1988.
