75th mark usage guidelines

Mark
UMKC’s 75th anniversary mark was created for use during the 2008 calendar year. It is available in black, blue and two-color formats.
To ensure consistency, do not separate, distort, reconfigure, change orientation or change the color of any element of the 75th anniversary mark. Never use the logo smaller than 5/8" in height.
Safe area
A safe area around the mark is preserved to allow for maximum impact and visibility of the mark. Avoid using elements such as typography, other logos, graphics or photos intruding on this safe area.
Note: The gray frame represents the space around the logo that must remain free of other elements, including typography. The gray area is the height of the top section of the mark, shown above.
Tagline
The tagline “75 years as Kansas City’s university” may be used in conjunction with the mark, but is not required. When used, the tagline should be in Goudy italic and should be placed outside the safe area of the mark.

The 75th mark is available in a variety of digital formats that can be downloaded. The images shown on this page are low resolution images that may not be used for print projects. Marks for print projects are available for downloading via the links below. Marks can be imported into word processing and page layout programs after download.
