iPhone email settings for UMKC E-Mail

From the main screen on the iPhone, click on 'Settings'.

From the Settings screen, click on 'Mail'.

From the Mail screen, click on 'Add Account'.

From the Add Account screen, click 'Other'.

From the Other screen, click on 'Exchange'.

Enter your name and email address, and a brief description of the account like 'UMKC Email'.

Under 'Incoming Mail Server' enter the following:

Host Name:  imap4.exchange.umkc.edu
User Name:    (enter your UMKC username here)
Password:   (enter your UMKC password here)

Under 'Outgoing Mail Server' enter the following:

Host Name:  smtp.exchange.umkc.edu:587
User Name:   (enter your UMKC username here)
Password:   (enter your UMKC password here)

Click 'Save' at the top-right corner of the screen.

Return to the main screen on the iPhone.

Click on 'Mail'

Click the circle-arrow at the bottom-right corner of the screen to force a download of your email.
