Scope of the Collection: Purpose is to collect materials that document the history of the Battle of Lexington during the Civil War. Materials are also collected for the community of Lexington and the immediate surrounding area.
Description of Collection holdings: Subject areas include agriculture/agribusiness, family and personal papers, government and military records, local history, and steamboat transportation, tickets, and ledger.
