Description of Collection holdings: The Museum contains one of the most complete collections of items from pioneer days. It is arranged in rooms and situations as they would naturally appear in bygone days. The Museum features one plane of the late world champion aerobatics pilot, Harold Krier, and his trophies; runner Wes Santee and his trophies. The Museum is operated by the Clark County Historical Society. There are ten rooms in front; undertaker, two parlors, bedroom, kitchen, craft room, hospital, barbershop, general store, church, bank, as well as a large barbed wire exhibit, war mementos, pictures, china, dolls, and guns. The back room has the airplane and fire engine, buggies, farm machinery, saddles, bits, blacksmith equipment, carpenter tools, washing machines, and fossils.

Genealogical publications exchange with 220 societies, archive files on history of county, total holdings number over 5,000 items. Microfilm of all early Pleasant Hill newspapers to 1945 and the early Deed Indexes for Cass County, Missouri. Museum artifacts used by persons in the community are on display.
