These policies and procedures have been collected for the benefit of UMKC faculty and staff. Please note that policies are subject to review and may be updated at any time.

This policy library is intended as a resource for faculty, staff and students. It is not comprehensive; it does not include links to unit-level policies and procedures.

 

What is a University policy?

A University policy:

  • has broad application
  • helps to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations,
  • enhances the University‚Äôs mission and provides operational efficiencies
  • reduces institutional risk
  • changes infrequently and sets a course for the foreseeable future
  • requires executive-level sponsorship and approval
