All graduate students interested in admission into any of our numerous graduate programs will need to meet with an academic advisor in their area of graduate studies interest. If you are interested in graduate studies and would still like to take a campus tour only, please contact the Welcome Center at 816-235-8652.
International students will want to meet with the International Student Affairs Office to schedule a visit to campus. Those with permanent residence status can schedule a visit through the Office of Admissions Welcome Center.
The campus tour is a 60 minute long walking tour of the Volker campus.

Classes are not scheduled during weekday visits. For first time college students entering for the fall, you are required to attend orientation prior to setting up your classes. Transfer students can attend orientation or contact their advisor directly. Learn more about what happens at new student Orientation.

There are several hotels in the area that have a UMKC discount that can be applied to the room. Visit the area hotel page to find links and information about lodging in the area.
We do not currently offer weekday visits or Academic Open Houses on Saturdays. For the spring 2016 semester, we have a UMKC Preview Day event on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Please visit the Welcome Center page for more information about UMKC Preview Days.
