  •   Criterion One: Mission and Integrity
    gradbar
The organization operates with integrity to ensure the fulfillment of its mission through structures and processes that involve the board, administration, faculty, staff, and students.

Previous Report Page The University of Missouri-Kansas City is committed to the mission, vision and values set out in our four key mission documents: the mission statement of the University of Missouri System; the UM System Board of Curators’ mission statement for the University of Missouri- Kansas City; the UMKC Chancellor’s vision statement; and the UMKC values statement. These documents serve as the foundation for our academic programs, research and service to the State of Missouri, the nation, and the international community. The documents also guide our ongoing strategic planning for the future. This chapter articulates our mission documents and assesses our success at ensuring that we are moving toward those documents’ goals through a process that involves the UM System, Board of Curators and UMKC administration using open communication and engagement with UMKC faculty, staff, students and the wider communities we serve.
