 Business Services Vision

We anticipate and meet changing institutional needs with responsiveness, innovation and dependability.

Business Services is responsible for budget development, budget management and personnel management for the following sub-units:

•	Central Ticket Office
•	Contract Administration
•	Environmental Health & Safety
•	Mail/Addressing Services
•	Parking & Transportation
•	Police
•	Printing
•	Real Estate

All departmental sub-units provide services to academic and non-academic departments on the Kansas City campus.

Business Services is also involved in the negotiation of University leases of real property to and from outside entities and coordinates lease renewals and monthly rental payments for University leased properties. Business Services also is responsible for the negotiation of real property purchases and sales, working closely with the Office of the General Counsel and UM Management Services.
