Space Management collects and maintains information on the 217 properties utilized by the University of Missouri-Kansas City and its surrounding community.

Why Space Management?
- The integrated facilities inventory database tracks the nearly 4 million gross square feet and the floor plans. This database assists in greater resource management.
- Each building and room must be coded following the National Center for Education Statistics standards to provide greater comparability with other universities.
- Compliancy with State of Missouri requirements for reporting on academic and research space. Reporting used by both internal and external customers.
