Missouri Tax Tuition Scholarship Program

Who may qualify for a Missouri tax scholarship?  Students who are not residents of Missouri, but:
  • are assessed non-resident fees, and
  • work in the Missouri, and
  • have a Missouri income tax liability

Note:  Students with visa types of J-1 and F-1 are no longer excluded from participating in this program.

If you are eligible for this program, you will receive for the academic year a scholarship amount no greater than your income tax liability.  For example, if you Missouri income tax liability in 2006 was $500, the maximum amount of your scholarship for the 2007 academic year will be $500.  The amount awarded is for the entire year and not for each semester.

Applications are available from the Cashier's Offices, 112 Administrative Center, or can be printed from the links below:

    Forms

A copy of the previous year's Missouri tax return and supporting documents must be submitted with your application.  For example, if you are applying for a scholarship for Fall semester 2007, you would provide a copy of your Missouri tax return and supporting documents for 2006.
