| This course will provide budget basics for new business officers and refresher training for seasoned business officers on the following topics: | |||
| • | building realistic budgets | ||
| • | building salary and benefit budgets | ||
| • | estimating fixed or recurring cost estimates | ||
| • | presenting key elements of responsibility center management and budgeting in regard to the Budgeting for Excellence Model for FY2008 | ||
| It is recommended that this course be taken once every two years by key business managers with budget responsibilities. | |||
