| BUDGET AND FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION, PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT | |||
| UNIVERSITY AUDITS AND ANALYZING FINANCIAL RISK | |||
| This course will provide a basic overview of the University of Missouri System internal audit process (PWC) and the roles and responsibilities that units have in responding to auditors' requests. Topics include: | |||
| • | key assessment areas that business officers need to manage on an on-going basis | ||
| • | review of the audit cycle | ||
| • | reporting requirements for audited units | ||
| • | assessing operational risk (financial, performance, environmental, and system) | ||
| • | recommendations for developing business policies and procedures to make necessary improvements | ||
| This course will serve as a requirement for all fiscal officers. | |||
