Students who are not Missouri residents and are assessed non-resident fees but work in Missouri and have a Missouri income tax liability, may be eligible for a Missouri Tax Tuition Scholarship. Students with visa types of J-1 and F-1 are no longer excluded from participating in this program. Applications are available from the Cashier's office, 112 AC, 5115 Oak and must be completed along with appropriate tax information. You may also obtain the form by clicking below and printing it:

A copy of the previous years Missouri tax return and supporting documents are required with submission of application. Example: If you are applying for a scholarship for Fall semester 2012, you would provide a copy of your Missouri tax return and supporting documents for 2011.

NOTE:  If eligible for this program, you will receive for the academic year a scholarship amount no greater
than your income tax liability.  For example, if your Missouri income tax liability in 2006 was $500,
the maximum amount of your scholarship for the 2007 academic year will be $500.  The amount
awarded is for the entire year and not for each semester.
