Human Resources Standard Reports

 

Standard Reports have been developed for delivery to the Human Resources Facilitators.  These reports are delivered on a regular basis:

 

Turnover Report

 

Turnover occurs when an employees leaves an organization. When an employee leaves, the skills that helped contribute to the success of a department go with them. Turnover may cause lost productivity and can play a part in morale for those remaining in the department. When someone leaves it typically means duties are reassigned to others and this can then create added stress for co-workers. Additionally, think of the time it takes to train someone. In a University setting a person must sometimes experience a full academic year.

 

We provide this report so that you may review the turnover activity in your department. The reports as we provide them today provide basic information with regard to overall turnover in addition to voluntary vs. involuntary turnover. Several reports reflect turnover by UM OCC Group.  We currently provide this information for benefit eligible academic and administrative employees.

 

All reports can be saved to excel format and many can be displayed as charts.

Biweekly Leave Accrual & Usage Report

 

This report is delivered every 2 weeks according to the biweekly pay schedule.  The report gives Leave Accrued for the pay period and Leave Taken for the period for benefit eligible non-exempt staff for each Leave Type. 

 

Monthly Leave Accrual & Usage Report

 

This report is delivered the first day of every month and gives  Leave Accrued for the pay period and Leave Taken for the period for benefit eligible exempt staff for each Leave Type.

 

Overtime Report

 

This report is delivered the first day of every month and gives Overtime Earned for each Biweekly pay period for the preceding Month.

 

Birth Month & Day Report

 

This report is delivered quarterly on the 15th day of the month preceding the start of the new quarter and gives Birth Month and Day for all staff, faculty, and students employeed at UMKC.   The report gives this information for employees whose Birth Month and Day falls within the reporting period.

 

Service Date Report

 

This report is delivered quarterly on the 15th day of the month preceding the start of the new quarter and gives Service Anniversary Date for non-student staff and faculty, years of service and an indicator that shows which employees are celebrating a milestone anniversary.   The report gives this information for employees whose Service Date falls within the reporting period.
