At 8:03 PM, Tuesday, October 29, the University of Missouri-Kansas City Police Department received a report of a robbery.
The incident is reported to have occurred in the parking lot located on the north side of Twin Oaks North, 5000 Oak Street, at approximately 7:40 PM, Tuesday, October 29, 2002.
The adult female victim is not affiliated with the University of Missouri, however is a resident of Twin Oaks. The victim stated while walking through the parking lot an unknown male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt grabbed her purse and pushed her to the ground. There is no further description of the suspect at this time.
The detective unit at the UMKC Police Department is conducting an investigation.
