Interim Chief/Capt. Michael Bongartz

Capt. Bongartz has been with the department since 1987, attained the rank of Sergeant in 1991 and was promoted to Captain in 2005.  Mike was named Interim Chief of Police effective February 25, 2008. He also holds the responsibility of Patrol Commander and is our chief firing range officer.   He received his law enforcement training at the Kansas City Regional Police Academy.
