This course provides a basic overview of
the University of Missouri System internal audit process (PWC)
and the roles and responsibilities that units have in responding
to auditors' requests. Topics discussed include:
- key assignment areas that business
officers need to manage on an ongoing basis
- review of the audit cycle
- reporting requirements for audited
units
- assessing operational risk
(financial, performance, environmental, and system)
- recommendations for developing
business policies and procedures to make necessary
improvements
This course is required for all fiscal
officers.
