The UMKC Student Loan department staff handle the administration of promissory notes from the following loans:
- Federal Perkins Student loan
- Health Profession loan and
- University Long-Term loan
The office also handles exit interviews, deferments and payment processing, in conjunction with our service partner, ECSI (Educational Computer Systems, Inc.).
We can also discuss general consolidation options for the Perkins Loans and Health Professions Loans, with the exception of the Primary Care Medical Loan which is ineligible for consolidation.
Our goal is to provide this information, as well as solutions to problems, in an accurate and responsive manner within the bounds of regulatory compliance and University guidelines and procedures.
