Fire Safety
We ensure adherence to fire codes and that all fire risks are addressed.
The Fire Safety department provides:
- Routine inspections on fixed and portable fire suppression systems.
- Regular fire prevention inspections of all UMKC buildings to ensure any fire hazards are identified and corrected.
- Response to fire alarms as well as any fire related complaints.
- Basic fire suppression training, which may be scheduled by contacting the Fire Marshal.
