Fire Safety and Extinguisher Use
Description: This class consists of a 10-15 minute presentation on different types of fires as well as the different types of fire extinguishers available at UMKC. After completing the orientation, participants will have the opportunity to practice basic fire suppression skills in the hands-on portion of the class. Each participant will use a live fire extinguisher in order to become familiar with the basic fire suppression equipment and techniques learned in the class.
