Freshman
UMKC's School of Medicine offers the 6-Year B.A./M.D. program geared towards students (US Citizens and Permanent Residents only) that have graduated or will be graduating from an accredited United States high school and have no more than 24 hours of college credit earned after high school at the time of application.
We highly recommend that students interested in applying to this program, visit the School of Medicine's website or call the School of Medicine's Council on Selection at 816-235-1870 prior to beginning the application process.
UMKC School of Law offers a Six-Year Law Scholars program geared towards students who have graduated from an accredited high school, been admitted to the UMKC College of Arts and Sciences and who have a minimum ACT score of 28 (or an SAT score of 1240 on the 1600 point test that excludes the writing score of 1980 OR the 2400 point test that includes the writing score). Applicants must also possess a high school GPA demonstrating success in a demanding curriculum.
Qualified students must also complete the Law School Supplemental Application.
Students who meet the qualifications will be admitted to the College of Arts and Sciences as undergraduate pre-law students and may choose to major in any undergraduate degree program in the College.
Six-Year Law Scholars who maintain a minimum 3.3 cumulative undergraduate GPA will be automatically accepted to the School of Law without being required to take the LSAT.
