Applying to UMKC's 6 Year Medical Program

UMKC's 6 Year (B.A.M.D) Medical Program :

The 6-Year B.A.M.D program at the University of Missouri, Kansas City is geared towards students (US Citizens and Permanent Residents only) that have graduated or will be graduating from an accredited United States High School and have no more than 24 hours of college credit at the time of application.

If you are enrolled in college the semester you apply to the program, you must not exceed the 24 credit hour limit at the end of the semester.

Students are highly encourage to APPLY ONLINE .  Once you complete the online application you will be emailed the supplemental materials to complete.

M.D. Only Program at the School of Medicine:

Students with more than 24 hours of college credit may quality as an M.D. Only applicant.

A limited number of these positions may become available between the second and third year of the program. Both in-state and out-of-state residents with a minimum of a baccalaureate degree at the time of entering the program will be considered.

Interested applicants are requested to contact the School of Medicine's Council on Selection for more information.   The application deadline for the M.D. only program is August 1st.

 

 

6 Year Medical Program Application Deadline :

Please Note: Students who are looking to be considered for the 6 year Med Program are normally required to apply almost a year in advance.

For example: The deadline for admission for Fall 2007 is November 15th, 2006.
