Transferring to UMKC : We know education is important to you because you've already earned college credits. At UMKC, we'll help you take the next step forward - a bachelor's degree.
Here are some recommended steps for students looking to transfer to UMKC
1.Schedule a campus visit
Call the UMKC Welcome Center at 1-800-775-UMKC to set up your visit for a scheduled visit day, or to make an individual appointment. You can also make an appointment via the Welcome Center website.
2. Apply for admissions
Read the transfer admission requirements. When ready, either complete the UMKC application online or mail in a printed copy.
3. Send us your college transcripts
Send us your official college transcripts for any courses you may have taken. If you have attended multiple institutions, we will need official transcripts from each of them.
4. Apply for scholarships and financial aid
Visit the UMKC Financial Aid & Scholarship office's website to learn more about university-wide scholarships and to complete the FAFSA. Also, many academic units within the university have their own set of scholarships, so be sure to ask your academic advisor if there are scholarships that you are eligible for.
