3. Students looking to get a second OR graduate degree (First time attending UMKC)
Students returning to complete their UMKC degree: Students who are returing to complete their degree and who meet the below requirements should complete a request to Re-Enroll form:

You were not enrolled at UMKC in the term previous to the one you are now attempting to register for. |
| 2. |
You have not enrolled in classes at any other institution since last attending UMKC.(Please Note : Students who have attended another institution will need to reapply using the regular application. As a returning student, you are ineligible to use the online application process, and will need to mail or hand deliver an application to us.) |
| 3. |
If you are a graduate student, you have not been out of your program for more than two consecutive semesters (not inluding summer). |
| 4. |
If you are an undergraduate student, you have not been out of your program for more than three consecutive semesters (not including summer). |
| 5. |
You wish to re-enroll in the same academic unit and the same degree program in which you were previously enrolled. Note: You cannot be re-admitted to a program in which you have already earned a degree. If you are wanting to enroll in a different degree program, you will need to fill out a new application - available for download or pick up at our office. |
| 6. |
You were not a Visiting Student or enrolled through the Office of Continuing Education. |
| 7. |
You are not a student in Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Graduate Biological Sciences, or Conservatory (must audition if out for more than one semester). Note: If you fall into this category, please contact our office at 1-800-775-8652 or 816-235-1111 for information on how to proceed. |

| What forms do I need for the above: The Only form you need is the Request to Re-Enroll. To obtain one, simply stop by our office. Since you have not taken classes elsewhere, we will not be needing any additional transcripts. |

Students looking to get a second degree (Students who graduated from UMKC): Students that have obtained a degree from UMKC and are looking to pursue additional degrees, are required to fill out a new application. Students meeting this criteria, should please note that they are ineligible to use the online application process, and will need to either download and mail in the application or stop by the Admissions Office and pick up a copy.
Students that fall in the above category are not required to pay an application fee and will not need to have additional transcripts attached to their application, IF they have not attended any other institution since graduating from UMKC.
Students looking to get a second OR graduate degree (Students who are looking to attend UMKC for the first time ONLY): If you are looking to attain a second bachelors degree or even a graduate degree, and have never previously enrolled at UMKC, you may use our online application process or download a copy of the application to mail in.
If you have enrolled for classes at UMKC, but completed your degree elsewhere and now wish to apply for admission you will need to download a copy of the application to mail in.
