Instructions
Review the instructions below and determine whether you should complete the ESL application or the conditional admissions form. Click on the appropriate link below to fill out the necessary form.
ESL Only
Please send us the following:
- A bank statement (via fax or e-mail) showing funds available as follows:
- For fall and spring: $23,246
- For one semester (fall or spring): $11,618
- For the summer semester: $6,090
- Above the tuition and housing costs for any special program, including summer school: $600
- Affidavit of support, if the account is not your own. This must be signed and dated. Click here to download the form.
- A copy of your passport picture page.
Conditional admission
Please send us the following:
- A bank statement (via fax or e-mail) showing funds available as follows:
- For fall and spring: $30,630
- Above the tuition and housing costs for any special program, including summer school: $600
- Affidavit of support, if the account is not your own. This must be signed and dated. Click here to download the form..
- A copy of your passport picture page.
- A narrative statement that tells why you would like to study your degree and why you want to study at UMKC.
- Official copies of high school and university transcripts (must be on official school letterhead with a school stamp). These must be sent by express mail; faxes or scanned copies are not accepted.
