Conditional admission
No TOEFL required for conditional admissions.
If you have not taken the TOEFL or IELTS and would like to apply for an academic program, you should apply for conditional admission. Many academic departments at UMKC will consider admitting undergraduate international students who have not demonstrated proficiency with the English language. This means that you will study English at UMKC in the Applied Language Institute until you become proficient, then you will enroll in courses related to your degree.
