Withdrawal Directions for Teachers
To withdraw a student from a VSI dual credit course (prior to the cut off date):
- Complete the Withdraw Form (pdf) and fax form to the VSI office.
Note: The student who withdraws from a course that he or she is enrolled in for college credit will be subject to the withdrawal refund schedule. Students who are taking the course for high school credit only will not have to follow the withdrawal procedures.
To withdraw a student from a VSI dual credit course (after the cut off date):
- Students who wish to withdraw from the course after the cut-off date will have to submit a Petition for Late Withdrawal (pdf).
This form is for any withdrawal after the cutoff day including semesters in the past. All petitions must include justification and documentation why student was not able to withdrawal within the defined withdraw schedule. Petitions are then presented to a review board for approval. Please contact the VSI office if you have any questions regarding this procedure.
