About us
During the 2009–10 school year, Jumpstart Kansas City will serve more than 300 children at Head Start centers and other preschools serving low-income families in Kansas City; recruit and train 90 college students from UMKC and Rockhurst University to mentor preschool children at risk for future school failure; and engage more than 70 community volunteers in service projects that support families and community members in preparing children for school success.
