UMKC Brand

The UMKC brand is the personality and identity of UMKC. A consistent, continuous brand helps bolster UMKC’s efforts in image, enrollment, alumni relations and fundraising. The tools on this site are available for your use in helping to maintain the UMKC brand.

The UMKC brand consists of the following elements, the UMKC mark, colors and fonts.

The UMKC mark incorporates two graphic elements. The first is the graphic representation of the lamp of knowledge – represented by the flame graphic element. Second, the letterforms “UMKC.” The mark must appear on all materials published by the University, its units and its affiliates, in print or electronic format.

Note that the mark is a single graphic element. The letters may not be used without the graphic representation of the flame. Furthermore, the mark may not be recreated, re-proportioned or altered in any way.
