Required Statements

The Office of University Communications is charged with the responsibility for ensuring that material from the University community meets those guidelines. University Communications can help you determine when, and if, these statements need to be included in material you mail or distribute.

The report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by UMKC; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters. The report is available at the UMKC Police Department, 4825 Troost Building, or via the Web site: www.umkc.edu/police.
