Bloch Scholars

Henry W. Bloch Scholars are UMKC students who have transferred from either Donnelly College in Kansas City, Kansas, or Metropolitan Community College - Penn Valley in Kansas City, Missouri. The students are selected and receive their scholarship at the community college, and upon completing their Associate's Degree, transfer to UMKC. Once at UMKC, Bloch Scholars become part of the Coaching Program and are paired with a Peer Coach.

Kansas City Public Library - Downtown Branch

Bloch Scholars who have graduated from Donnelly College, Penn Valley CC, or UMKC in Dec 2007

or who will graduate May 2008 will be honored at the annual Bloch Scholar Graduation Lunch.

All Bloch Scholars must attend 4 Academic Success Seminars this semester.
