Amanda Doyon has been with the Coaching Program since May of 2005.  She began as a Peer Coach, then moved up to Lead Coach the second year, and is now currently the assistant for the program.  The assistant position has given Amanda the opportunity to learn the day to day operations, background knowledge of the program, maintaining the database, having contact with students, overseeing event planning, and being a representative of the UMKC Coaching Program.

Amanda is currently working on a Bachelors in Music Education at UMKC.  She is in the fourth year of a five year program in the Conservatory of Music.  After graduating she hopes to obtain a position teaching basic music and choir to high school students.  Because of the Coaching Program Amanda has begun to think of working with high risk students.
