Training Services 


The Division of Diversity, Access and Equity provides a number of workshops, seminars, programs and services to raise the awareness and to inform members of the campus community about diversity and equal opportunity.

Unlawful Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Training - All UMKC employees will benefit from a better understanding of discrimination and sexual harassment law, understanding their responsibilities as a supervisor/employee of UMKC, knowing the steps in an investigation, and learning the roles and responsibilities of the Affirmative Action Office. This class is designed to empower employees with the information they need to recognize problems early and prevent discrimination and sexual harassment. To register, click here.


Diversity Empowerment Workshops (DEW)
– a day of diversity awareness and empowering conversations.  For more information and registration, click here.

Essential Dialogues for Understanding (EDU) -
specific dialogue sessions featuring panel discussions, films, book readings and other venues. Please watch announcements for further information.

Diversity Curriculum Infusion Institute (DCII) -
the institute is designed to facilitate the goal of infusing diversity into the curriculum campus-wide. Faculty are provided guidance and resources needed to successfully engage in diversity curriculum infusion.
