At UMKC, we’re committed to making a difference in our community, and the Office of Community and Public Affairs is here to help wherever we can on projects ranging from securing volunteer opportunities for students to finding faculty researchers to assist on local projects.
We have more than 50 local partnerships, focusing on economic development, education, health and progress in our neighborhoods. Through these partnerships, we are able to leverage our resources to improve Kansas City and the surrounding area, creating a campus without borders.
