Neighborhood Council

Volker and Hospital Hill Neighborhood Councils

The University's land use and campus planning document was the result of a collaborative process between the University and its surrounding community.

One of the commitments that came from that process was the development of the Volker and Hospital Hill Neighborhood Councils.

Each council is composed of representatives from neighborhoods surrounding the Volker and Hospital Hill campuses, and representatives are selected by their respective neighborhood president.

Meetings are held every two months and are attended by Community Affairs staff as well as other members of the university's administration. Agenda items typically include any university related issues directly impacting the neighborhoods surrounding the Volker or Hospital Hill neighborhoods as well as University updates.
