Focusing on writers such as Marie de France, Chretien de Troyes, Sir Thomas Malory, Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Sara Teasdale, Bernard Malamud, and Marion Zimmer Bradley, this course examines the legend of King Arthur and his Round Table as a recurring myth, repeatedly manifested in time through literature, art, history, music, and film. Prerequisites: ENGLISH 225 (or equivalent) or DISC 200.
