Stipend and benefits
The internship appointment is a 2,000 hour internship over a 12-month duration. Internships begin in August. The current stipend is $22,335. Stipends are subject to federal, state and social security taxes.
Each doctoral intern has a private office with telephone and LAN-connected computer and laser printers. Permit parking is adjacent to the building.
As full-time employees, interns are eligible for the following: partially paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for self and family; group life and disability insurance benefits; use of many university facilities; and low-cost gym membership
In addition, benefits includes two weeks paid leave, University holidays, reasonable professional leave time for job interviewing and conventions, and two hours per week for dissertation research.
