Dr. Theoharidis received her doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2003. She is a licensed psychologist in Missouri, and works part-time at the Center. She has worked in university and hospital settings, as well as private practice. Her areas of special interest and experience include eating disorders, issues of abuse and trauma, self-esteem and identity development. Her approach to counseling incorporates person-centered, interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral theories. She is the chair of the Center’s Eating Disorder Treatment Team.
