Dale Voigt-Catlin, LCSW
Dale Voigt-Catlin received her master's degree in clinical social work from the
University of Kansas in 1986 and has been licensed as a clinical specialist social worker since 1992. She is licensed in both
Kansas and Missouri. Dale has been at the Center since 2006, having previously worked in university counseling centers at the
University of Kansas and at Missouri Southern State University. She has experience working in community mental health, child welfare,
and professional field education. Dale's practice approach is strengths-based and combines focus on both the
individual and the person-in-environment. Her areas of concentration within the alcohol and drug arena include prevention,
early intervention, counseling, community referrals, and consultations for students and staff. Other areas of
special interest within counseling include recovery from trauma, forgiveness, mindfulness, and personal development. Dale believes
in the dignity and worth of all people and in their capacities to learn and grow in healthy ways together. Family, outdoor
activities, music, and promotion of peace and social justice are important ingredients in Dale's life.
