Admission requirements

  • Students must have previous training in ballet and/or modern dance.  Students interested in being admitted are subject to successful 90-minute auditions in both ballet and modern dance.
  • New students must meet the general requirements for admission to the university.
  • All undergraduate transfer students must be admitted to the university and the Conservatory, present complete official transcripts, and audition.

Faculty

  • The Conservatory Dance Faculty is nationally renowned as both artists and teachers.
  • Faculty members have performed with such illustrious dance companies such as American Ballet Theater, Alvin Ailey, Dayton Contemporary, Deeply Rooted of Chicago, Milwaukee Ballet, Philadanco, and the San Francisco Ballet, and bring this professional experience to the students.
