Admission requirements

  • Applicants must meet all general admission requirements for UMKC and the special Conservatory requirements. Additionally, a 10-minute audition is required in the applicant's major performance field to determine proficiency and placement in the appropriate applied level.
  • Apply early for fellowship and/or scholarship consideration.
  • You may be asked to interview with the composition faculty.
