How do I order tickets?

How do I pay for my purchase?

We accept in person, over the phone and online.

Where do I collect my will call tickets?

Will Call starts at the event venue approximately 45 minutes before the scheduled starting time. Pre-paid tickets that were not mailed are ALWAYS waiting at the event unless otherwise noted in confirmations or print material.

Where can I park?

If you wish to visit the UMKC Central Ticket Office during hours of operation; there is a 15 minute loading zone in front of the James C Olson Performing Arts Center.

Each event venue has its unique parking arrangement. Inquire for specifics.

Please Note: The Cherry Street Parking structure on UMKC Campus is being rebuilt and will be unavailable for parking for the foreseeable future. Be sure to allow extra time for parking when attending events on UMKC campus.

How do I contract with CTO to sell my tickets?

Can I use my discount card or coupon online?

Probably not. If you don’t see the discount card or coupon price online then call us (816-235-6222) during business hours for more information. All online purchases are final.

What does GA vs. Reserved Seats mean?

GA Seats- Is General Admission and means opening seating.

Reserved Seats- You will have a specific Section, Row and seat.

Can I do exchanges?

Each producer sets their own policy.

May I bring in Recording Devices?

The industry standard is “No”. No cameras or recording devices are allowed during an event. You can always check the producer’s web site if they will have any recordings and/or photos of their events.

If there is bad weather do Performances get cancelled?

At the end of our business day you can call in and listen to our phone message to see if they have cancelled a performance.

When should I arrive for shows/events?

Arrive between 45mins to an hour prior to the scheduled starting time. Most doors open for seating ½ hour prior to the start time of the event. Be sure to allow plenty of time for parking and getting settled.

Are there any Discounts or Group Rates or anything specific to UMKC Staff or Alumni?

Each producer makes those determinations. Call us (816-235-6222) during business hours for complete information about the event you have in mind.

How can I rent White Recital Hall or Spencer Theatre for an event(s)?

All advance orders are mailed out unless stated or noted otherwise. Mailing takes about 5-7days.

All Sales Are Final - No Refunds or Cancelations

Are all performance spaces Handicap Accessible?

All UMKC buildings are handicapped accessible and most UMKC performance venues are compliant.

All Non-UMKC venues must be examined on a case by case basis. Call us (816-235-6222) during business hours for more information.

Online Service Fees

Central Ticket Office allows our producers a wide range of options when contracting service fees. At this time when you order a ticket online, the amount reflected may include a service fee. A breakdown of ticket prices and service fees is provided prior to finalizing your online purchase.
