Test your Court Warming, UMKC, Kansas City, and 1950’s knowledge at Trivia Night! Teams of 4 can compete in Trivia Night for a change to win great prizes! Log onto RooGroups and join Court Warming 2012 “Let the Good Times Roll” to register your team. Forms need to be submitted by Monday, February 20 at 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, February 22nd @ 7:00 p.m.: Yell like Hell
Location: Student Union Theatre
Cheer on teams as they compete for first place in the Yell Like Hell competition. Competing teams will create a 5-minute song/dance/skit based around the Court Warming theme. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams! Log onto RooGroups and join Court Warming 2012 “Let the Good Times Roll” to register your team. Forms need to be submitted by Monday, February 20 at 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 23rd @ 7:00 p.m..: Blue and Gold Game
Location: Swinney Recreation Center
Come support the UMKC men's basketball team play against Oakland University to prepare for the Court Warming game! Fans in attendance dressed in 1950’s Attire have a chance to participate in a costume contest. The first place winner will get a PARKING PASS for one year!
Mr. and Miss UMKC candidates will be judged on their 1950's Attire costumes.
Friday, February 24th @ 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.: Sock Hop
Location: Student Union Multipurpose room
UMKC’s annual dance in honor of our athletics program and school pride. This year’s theme, “Let the Good Times Roll,” is sure to shock you! 1950's costumes are encouraged. Snacks and beverages will be provided!
Saturday, February 25th @ 7:00 p.m.: Court Warming and Coronation
Location: Swinney Recreation Center
Come support the men's basketball team and watch the crowing of Mr. and Miss UMKC!
