Admission's Office

The Office of Admissions is responsible for recruitment, admissions and orientation. All inquiries about admission forms and status are directed to this office. Prior UMKC students who have not maintained continuous enrollment should consult with the Admissions Office regarding re-admission procedures. Admissions Office services include:

• Help with the admission process
• New student orientation programs
• Campus visit program through the Welcome Center
• Provide information on academic requirements and regulations
• Determination of residency status for fee purposes
• Referrals to other academic and campus support services, especially for those students who have not declared a major or professional school affiliation.

For questions regarding residency, an enrollment services coordinator is available to explain residency regulations. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
