The Edgar L. and Rheta A. Berkley Child and Family Development Center provides quality care and education for young children and serve as a research and training site for University students. The school is administered through and a part of the School of Education. Enrollment is open to the University population and the community at large. Tuition-assistance scholarships
are available for UMKC students and are awarded based on financial need. Berkley provides programming for children ages three months to six years. During the summer, the school also provides programming for children ages five to 11 years. Berkley is accessible to children with special needs. Tours are available by request.
