BkMk Press (pronounced "bookmark") is a 37-year-old literary publisher based at UMKC's College of Arts and Sciences and distributed nationally. The press annually publishes about five books, principally poetry and fiction. BkMk Press welcomes a limited number of students each semester for its book-publishing internship program, for credit or noncredit. Interns gain experience in editing, design, management and publicity.
